The conference "Conservation of Mountain Ecosystem Biodiversity in the Face of Climate Change" has been held annually for the past five years under the auspices of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan. This significant event attracts scientists, researchers, and representatives of public organizations from various countries, aiming to exchange experience and information and to promote collaborative efforts in research on the conservation of mountain ecosystem biodiversity. Over the years, the conference has attracted scientists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Russia, Germany, Japan, Mongolia, and other countries. This wide range of participants highlights the importance of the discussed issues and the global interest in biodiversity conservation. The best papers presented at the conference have been published in a special issue of the journal "Studies of Wildlife of Kyrgyzstan"
